Symmetric vs Asymmetric

Symmetric (AES): Uses the SAME key for both encryption and decryption. Fast and efficient, but problematic for sharing keys securely.

Asymmetric (RSA): Uses a pair of keys: a public key for encryption and a private key for decryption. This allows you to give everyone your public key so they can send you secret messages that only you can read.
