Scientific Methodology & Documentation

Astronomical Calculations

This tool calculates prayer times using the location-based astronomical algorithms provided by the Aladhan API. We default to the Muslim World League method (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) but dynamically adjust based on region. Timings are determined by solar declination and the equation of time to ensure millisecond precision synced with your local horizon.

The Science of the Adhan

The call to prayer (Adhan) is not only a spiritual reminder but a masterclass in vocal discipline. Our player uses 320kbps high-bitrate audio stems to preserve the resonance and frequency range of legendary Muadhins. We include variations in Maqamat (musical scales) like Maqam Rast (traditional) and Maqam Hijaz (emotional) to showcase the diversity of Islamic vocal heritage.

Visualizer Implementation

The visual animation at the center of the player is synced with the audio engine's amplitude. It employs a randomized frequency distribution logic to simulate a real-time spectral analyzer, providing a multi-sensory experience while preserving the sanctity of the recitation through subtle, non-distracting motion.

Global Sunnah Observance

Our database features recitations from Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem (Al-Aqsa), and Cairo. This selection is curated to represent the four major geographic centers of Islamic scholarship. Users can research the biographical history of each Muadhin to understand the lineages of Tajweed and vocal projection used in these historic মাসজিদ (Mosques).
